Kerem Shemi, born in 1988. Dancer, choreographer, martial arts practitioner and teacher. She holds a BA in dance and choreography from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. After graduating, she continued her movement research in China and Berlin, living, training and teaching for five years at the WDP school for internal Chinese martial arts of Wudang. During that time she started to develop 'Kungfu Dance' - a project that researches the combination of dance and martial arts through teaching and creating. A project which she continues to develop today. Kerem is a faculty member at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and teaches in various dance programs 'Kungfu Dance' and the art of Chinese sword.
